The PIAA H3 Style Plasma 55=110 watt bulb provides 85 watts of light for 55 watts of power, and produces an amber/yellow light using patented ion crystal technology. Less reflective than white, this light reduces the amount of glare in extreme fog and improves visibility in inclement weather. I was expecting a real high end lighting, well, it is bright but to a very short 25 feet distance, no more than that, they work well in real darkness but not with HID headlights or Ultravision Headlights, my next buy will be hyperWhite H3s, lol.

I have a set of fogs that use these bulbs on my car and wanted to see if they’d work in my Harley. After getting the Auxiliary Halogen Light kit form Harley Davidson I put these in. They work great. Very bright and give a well noticed yellow light. Highly recommend them.
If you put these in a Harley, make sure to shrink wrap the wiring and put some electrical tape against the back of the light housing to insulate them from blowing fuses. Great upgrade and helps get noticed on the road.

by the time you burn out your PIAAs, you will have gone through several Nokias and other brands. I know I cannot turn my headlights off in my Subaru (good) and if the car is on they are on and I do lots of driving. I was going though bulbs every 3 to 6 months and my PIAAs are into their second year. As Juan Valdez allegedly stated, “You get what you pay for…”

Last about a year from my own experience. Put out a great yellow color. No problems thus far with this product would definitly recommend these bulbs to anyone lookign for a great looking and good performance fog light bulb.
